Whenever you know you need to do something, but you can’t seem to take action and do the thing, either your brain gets distracted from doing it or you think it’s too hard so you shouldn’t try or whatever the case may be, that’s the resistance. You might start to overthink about the issue without actually really doing anything about it.
The best way I know how to shake myself out of the overthinking loop is so ask myself “Ok, So what else is keeping me from just doing this task?” Something starts to happen the more times I ask myself that question, I start to run out of excuses. Once I’m out of excuses, then I can more easily move towards completing the task.
So Just keep talking yourself out of your own excuses. You’ll be glad you did once you reap the reward for taking action.
Until Tomorrow,
