Ai as an Ally, Not an Overlord
The right way to do things
We had Ai figured out in 1977. Well, we figured it out with a Movie, it’s called Star Wars, you may have heard of it. C-3PO was a translator droid, he helped people communicate clearer between different species. R2-D2 was a mechanical droid, he went around fixing systems and saving the day. They were both companions to Luke. R2 may have been feisty, but he did what was asked of him (most of the time).
As much as a bicycle helps humans travel far greater distances faster than our own feet can carry us, Ai will help us go farther than we could on our own. There’s always a chance it might mess things up, or our economy might implode because no one works anymore, but as long as we use it as the tool it is and don’t lose our critical thinking skills, we’ll be just fine, maybe even better than fine, maybe most of us will actually be able to win and eek out a good life! Here’s Hoping!
