Taking ownership of your path means that when you fail, it’s all your fault, but the flipside of that is that when you win, its also all your fault. Most of the time though, you will fail, and that can sometimes cause your self esteem to tank and perpetuate not wanting to try anymore.
But if you think about yourself and your growth from a multi year perspective, you’ll start to understand that all of those failures was the price you had to pay to finally win at whatever goal you had set for yourself.
As long as you remember that you are in total control of your life, you will have the motivation to keep trying and correcting yourself to stay on the path that you have chosen. You may get forced to go off road once in awhile, but you can always make your way back to the path you’ve chosen for yourself.
Until Tomorrow,
