đ Cognition of the Bookâs Big Idea
Life is something you only receive once. Therefore, give up if you feel that life is slipping away from you. Give up putting up with less than you really deserve. Give up believing that you could be the person you've always wanted to be if you only had a different job, man, house, or automobile. Take charge of your life and decide what will happen next. Your life is entirely up to you to decide. Abandon self-comparison with others.
Quitting the habit of comparing yourself to other people is one of the best things you can do for yourself. The person you were yesterday is the only one you should strive to be better than. Therefore, don't worry about what other people enjoy, be it fancy clothes, cocktails, or a job in business. Determine what brings you genuine happiness and concentrate on that.
