đ Cognition of the Bookâs Big Idea
The underlying nature of these concepts is less enigmatic and more formulaic than common wisdom says, despite the fact that we are quick to mystify the notion of brilliance and eager to declare a select few as geniuses. What we regard as creative brilliance is a result of a combination of community, timing, familiarity, and novelty. Prominent promoters are necessary for creatives to succeed.
You'll need to do more than just put in a lot of effort and produce quality work if you want society to view you as a genius. A significant level of social recognition will also be necessary for you to succeed since people must respect you and your contributions. Thus, on your path to success, you'll need to bring along a specific kind of friend: a well-known promoter. This person presents you to your target audience and supports your work. In order for others to appreciate your friend's judgment when they start advocating on your behalf, they too should be a credible creative force in that industry.
