📚 Cognition of the Book’s Big Idea
Giving orders to others is not the role of true leadership. It has to do with cooperation and shared interests. In light of this, leading transformation doesn't require management experience. Building trustworthy relationships with those who are a member of your larger team can start as soon as you've recognized them. You can then use these connections to further your aims and gain more influence within your firm. Lean in to your skilled colleagues
Leading others who aren't on your team might be beneficial at times too. Maybe there's a coworker you don't often see, but everytime you get together, they always seem to have brilliant ideas and insights. Try to think of a way to give yourself a chance to get to know this individual better, such coming up with a project you two could collaborate on. Developing stronger bonds with the most influential individuals in your company will enable you to exert leadership and influence over a larger portion of the enterprise.
