Have you ever been concerned over an upcoming interview with a new Company? You know what they do, but something about working for this new company doesn’t sit right with you? Usually this is because there’s a gap between what they say their are about and what actually goes on in the cubicles.

Everyone knows what to expect being an employee of Google or Microsoft. They’ve lived with their products for years, they know how they’re going to treat their employees and you know full well they will dog food their own products to you. A mix of innovation and overwhelming bureaucracy will be commonplace for you there.

But when building your own company, you need to set the values you want represented. You must embody them, live them everyday of your life. Otherwise what will happen as you hire employees, they will bring whatever baggage they have with them and then they will determine your culture, most likely in a negative way (Trauma is a real issue with careers as of late).

Inspire your employees and coworkers to work with the values you all should embody. It’s the best way for a company to grow alongside it’s employees.

Until Tomorrow,
