They defintely don't exist to Improve your Career

The hardest lesson I ever had to learn was that my job was not end all means to my overall career development. It was the Opportunity to excel in my career.

I thought that my job was suppose to take care of me and promote me and make me better, all the while paying me more and more money as I was given more and more responsibility.

This is not how it turned out to be. They actually kept my Salary for years till I spoke up about it. They kept me in the same titled position because of how well I did in that position, and I was so cheap!

The only person that will care about your career development is you. So it’s direly important that you care! Because no one else will!
