“Primacy Effect. The principle is this: We place additional significance on whatever we encounter first.” -Mike Michalowicz (Profit First)
Have you ever ordered some food and noticed the someone who ordered after you got their food first before you did?
It probably wasn’t intentional, either there food took less time to prepare or the employee making the order did it faster than the employee working on your order.
This is actually how you should run a Business. You have to prioritize the big things, the things that move the needle the most in your business first. Whether it be an important customer or an unimportant errand you need to run, prioritization will save you a lot of headaches. The first and loudest to complain should not always get your attention.
