Give Someone Strength by being proud of what they've done

Sometimes all people want is a little recognition

I can’t tell you how many things I’ve accomplished in my lifetime. I could tell you highlights, but I wouldn’t want this Newsletter to go too long. But when you recognize good things in people that they often don’t see in themselves, and you tell them, something magical happens. Trust is built. People feel seen, they’re feelings are justified, and their ruminating thoughts quiet down a little.

We all live inside our own heads. Many thoughts happen at the speed of light, and when you’re brain works overtime like that, it usually devolves into negative thoughts and emotions. But there is definitely power in positive thoughts as well, especially if it comes from outside the mind, from someone actually real. It instantly shakes you out of yourself to start thinking about other people, which helps your mood, helps your frame of mind, it helps you to trust.

So compliment someone when they do something good, you’ll never know how much a simple act like that can change a person’s attitude for the better, instantly.

Until Tomorrow,
