Curiosity is the only Motivation

The Why behind why you do things is infinitely more important than the how you do things. If you have a strong why, if you understand that the things you do have an immense impact on those you work with, you’ll understand that the how doesn’t matter much, people are attracted to why you do things.
The How usually reflects your values, how you go about something is how you do everything. But the Why is the foundation of why you’re doing it in the first place. It’s your motivation, it’s your feelings, it’s your sense of honor, pride or integrity. Without a strong why, you can’t take on harder and harder challenges and have it mean something. Everything you do would be just be because you have to do it, and all love of what you do will eventually fade.
So go deep, find your why, especially when you are going through a rough time or are being particularly angry at one thing. It might help you back on the path to caring about what you actually want to do.
