No One but You Will Share Your Story
So don't be afraid to
I see a lot of people as creators tell stories. They usually tell other people’s stories, hardly ever their own. They either think that no one will care or that their story isn’t all that interesting. Sometimes the trauma of your life prevents you from seeing that value of your life story.
It’s unfortunate, because each person has a unique take on their lives. It’s actually pretty amazing that no one has had the same life as someone else. Random events happen to each one of us, regardless if we are the same age, the same occupation, the same personality type.
But unfortunately, the best advocate you have for your own story is you. So the only way to be represented best is by you. It means that you are the best thing that’s ever happened to you, and if you don’t step up and make sure people see your real worth, most likely no one ever will. Heck, you’ll start to eventually believe that too if you think about it long enough.
Find something you’re good at and own it. Do it all the time and never think for a second you don’t have what it takes to be the best in the world at it.
