Resilience in the Face of Resistance is an Underrated Skill
Always keep to your good habits
Everytime I look at someone’s youtube channel or social media account that seems frustrated that they aren’t going anywhere, I always see inconsistency. Either they will sparsely post, or every thought or video will be random and have no coherence.
What many think success on social media is about is virality, engagement, tons of follows and subscribers. But those are actually results of consistency, not skill. The number one thing you are trying to develop with your creative work is trust, then the follows and acclaim will follow that trust.
Don’t believe me? Look at any youtube channel under 1000 subscribers. 99.9% of them will not have posted once a day or even once a week consistently. Consistency is way more important than having a viral idea or being able to get noticed by a big creator. You have to earn the trust first, then everything else will follow.
