I look at a lot of people’s Social Media Profiles. I’m just really invested in when I see a post I like, where it came from and how they got there (I know I’m not normal, lol!).
Whenever I do, I notice the posts that really get me are never the norm in their account. They talk about the most random type of things that have no relevance to that one post that hooked me. It looks like there halfway trying post about something that truly speaks to them, and the other half is regurgitated “Best Practices” BS advice they probably heard about on Youtube.
It’s amazingly apparent that most social media posters have no why. If only they could look inside themselves, see what they have to truly offer people and then just go hard on that. Not only would Social Media be in a much better place, we would be too. The promise of the Internet was supposed to be Global Human Connection at Scale. What we got was a lot of fakeness and a lot of liars and a lot of thieves, all in it for themselves.
So if you are sitting here, after posting daily for however long and you still haven’t “Gone Viral” yet, look at you’re past posts and ask yourself: “Am I proud of what I’ve posted? Is it truly about who I am and want to be?”
If it isn’t you got some work to do…
Until Tomorrow,
