There’s only one big question you need to ask yourself when you feel like you’re not progressing at your job

”Why do you want to learn something new?”

The answer to that question tells a lot about your career. Do want to learn something new because you’re boss told you too take on something amidst the 1000 other things you have to do? Do you want to learn something because you’re bored and want to get a different job with more responsibility and you always wanted to look into “X” Certification? Do you want more pay by becoming certified in something you already handle really well and you’re just not comfortable to ask your company for raise without the paper?

You should always trust your gut when it comes to what you should do next in your life, and usually you should err on the side of choosing the one thing that will help you grow the most. Understanding why you want to do something is sometimes more helpful then understanding how to do that something.

Until Tomorrow,
