Temper your Passions
The only way to grow is to harness your skills for the benefit of others
When I see another person is really good at something, I often wonder how they got so good at it. Is it because they were born with it? Is it because they worked hard at it their entire lives at acquiring it? Is it because they were lucky enough to find a master of it and learn from them? It’s not just about the knowledge they have, it’s about how they came to acquire that knowledge.
If the knowledge was acquired by hard work and discipline, that knowledge can be used to help a lot of people. If that knowledge was faked, it becomes very easy to tell after just minutes of talking with the person. You can tell they know the bare minimum about it and just pretend they know. They’d rather give into their fleeting passions than work hard at acting the way they should.
Be disciplined, temper your passions and try to use the knowledge you’ve earned by doing so.
Until Tomorrow,
