Focus is the number one problem I see in almost everyone I meet. There are very few people in this world that can focus their attention for years on one topic or subject or job or process. While I should say that it’s possible to focus on multiple things at once only by spending an hour at a time only on one thing and moving on to the next, what’s defintely not possible is context switching every 5 minutes and thinking you’ll ever get anything done.
If you’re having trouble being motivated to stay focused on any one thing, re-evaluate if you should be doing that thing in the first place.
Being unfocused is a strong indicator that you have something better you should be doing that will benefit the human race way more than what you’re currently working on.
