Social Media wants to trick you. They are the Landlord, they want you you to keep paying rent while you think you’re getting some long term value. Well, you’re not, you just have a house to live in until the end of the month if you don’t keep giving them your rent (Social Posts) or they’ll kill you’re Tenancy (Reach).
So you need to treat Social Media like you’re a renter. Maximize everything you can from being there, but pull everyone else into your own Platform. The way I do this is with this Newsletter!
You could use a Podcast, a Live Stream, a Private Online Community, even you’re own website, but it has to be 100% yours. No one should be able to tell you what to do on you’re own platform.

There’s a symbiotic relationship forming between real people and viewers at home. Everyone hates following Companies on Social Media, they follow Human Beings, and the ones that are winning are the ones who show up daily for those they want to connect with. Money will follow, as long as the Trust stays between the two entities, the Viewer and the Creator.
