The Lie of "I'll do it Tomorrow"
Share

When we should have done something and didn’t, we you usually say “I’ll take care of it Tomorrow”.

The problem is that’s an absolute lie, at least as far as our brains are concerned. Putting off something till tomorrow let’s our Brain completely forget about it, and if we don’t write it down, then we won’t remember it.

Taking care of it Tomorrow is basically saying it isn’t a priority for myself and my goals. Which is fine, until that thing becomes urgent enough to cause you some real problems if it’s not taken care of by someone or something else soon.

If it takes less than 2 minutes, you should just take care of it now. Otherwise you’ll be lying to yourself because you won’t, in fact get to it Tomorrow, you’ll forgot it ever existed in the first place.

Until Tomorrow,
