Everytime I go on Social Media, I see everyone begging for attention. You can almost feels it in their words, they need that attention to feel good about themselves, to make money and to feel like they’re actually achieving something

But to tell you the truth, I crave connection more than attention. It hits way different. Attention is fleeting, it comes and goes just as fast. But connection is something that we deep down aspire to build. Attention might be way to start those connections, but it defintely isn’t and end all solution. You’ll talk to a bunch of celebrities and the number one problem they have is they don’t feel connected enough to people. People just want to associate themselves with them because of their fame and not because they are fun to hang out with.

Look for connection in every social media post, friendly outreach or business transaction. All these will be better served the more you connect with the people on the other side of them.
