Humans act rationally. They are always are trying to look out for themselves. The awesome (and quite ironic) thing about this is you can use this to your advantage. Persuasion is a trait that most discount, but is pretty important if you want to survive in this world. Persuading people to give you a chance to serve them, giving you a chance to grow and giving you a chance to be forgiven if you made a mistake.

When a Human starts acting irrationally, it was usually triggered by something. It could be resentment, burnout or even the actions of someone else. You may be at work and ask a very trivial question of someone and then they snap back at you. You didn’t cause this to happen, you were just the straw that broke the camel’s back.

So don’t blame yourself for causing them to lash out, it wasn’t your fault, just do your best not to snap back at them. It will only make matters worse.
