Many people take the easy choice for obvious reasons. Our brains are meant to conserve energy and resources. But you won’t have the capacity not the affinity to do anything hard if you don’t try hard things sometimes. Sometimes it’s important you take the harder challenge to help yourself grow, and that was the right decision all along, no matter how long you’ve been avoiding it.
Whether it’s becoming a Father, taking a Leadership position, or volunteering to be a coach or a mentor, these hard decisions could impact your life so much that you completely end up internally identifying yourself as one of them. So take the hard road next time if you think it will help you grow. Always choose Growth above anything else.
