“Finding the work you were meant to do is rarely a linear journey. It’s a process of exploring many little twists and turns that lead us to the place we ultimately belong. -Chris Guillebeau (Born for This)
The Story of you is rather boring, to be honest. If you think of yourself as the main character of the story that someone might be reading, do you think you would be an interesting character to them? Maybe one day you got laid off from your crappy job, or maybe someone ran into your parked car? Maybe all this happened in one day and you decided to live a life a crime from that day forward.
Now we’re talking! Now we got a breaking bad situation on our hands. Now we’re rooting for you, you’re life is interesting. Congratulations!
Problem is you’re in danger of going to jail for the rest of your life as you make more and more morally ambiguous choices, everyone close to you will leave you and eventually you end up dead under a vat of chemicals.
Just because your life is boring now doesn’t mean it always will be. It doesn’t mean you need to go out and do stupid things to light fire on your life. The only fire you need to light in your life is the internal one. Make changes and try new things, but don’t think that because life gets you down means it’s time to go on a crime spree (or worse, just give up).
There’s always room for improvement. You can change anytime you decide to. No one is stopping you.
Until Tomorrow,
