Work should be good for you, but above all else, it should be helpful to others

Work is service. It’s taking your labor, physical or mental, and putting it to use for someone other than yourself. Even if the work benefits you directly, it will always benefit other people as well. If you write a book, the book isn’t for you necessarily, you already have the knowledge of everything in the book you’d write.
It’s for everyone else to read and gain the knowledge you have.

If you build a house, even by yourself, others will live in that house other than you, and when you pass away, most likely other people will buy your house and live in it and benefit from your hard work.

Therefore Work should be a matter of pride and and helpful to your self esteem, because if you work and it benefits other people, that’s value, and everyone on earth is looking for more and more value. It’s also what builds your integrity, it’s what build trust in other people, and the act of sacrificing yourself for the benefit of serving others is what eventually builds love in all of us.

So go do stuff for other people, you’ll never ever regret it.

Until Tomorrow,
