You are Valuable
You just don't know how to show you are to other people.
I’ve met tons of people who immediately try to come off as important to me and I can usually see right through them. They are usually very insecure about themselves. They do everything they can to hide it, but I’ve been trained to look for it, it’s just the way my brain works. It’s also really hard for us to subconsciously hide our body language.
But I never try and judge a persons motivations or past mistakes. I believe in growth. I believe everyone of us, from the kindest person on the planet to the murderer sitting in prison can improve themselves anytime they want to.
You have inherent value. You’re good at certain things and pretty bad at others. But the biggest mistake I see people make is they think that they are worthless in a moment of failure. Failure inherently makes a more humble. With that humility you gain perspective, the perspective that you can try again and do better this time.
The way to show your Value is to serve others. This does two things, you become valuable in the eyes of the person who you’re serving AND you gain more self confidence, which also increases your self worth and attitude for the better.
So if you want to be more valuable, do more kind things for other people.
