Back in my early years of IT Work, I love to learn. Working at an MSP straight out of college was both good and bad for me. There was a lot of systems to learn, Citrix, Exchange, Quickbooks. All would fail at some point, most self-hosted, and I had to fix them all. It was a very trial by fire couple of years. But eventually I got a handle on everything, and I started to see that all enterprise software was the same. Usually they could be fixed doing the same things and I learn how best to help the customers fix their own problems in the future.
At the beginning, things seem hard, but really once you figure it out, it actually becomes very easy to fix. That’s because I didn’t stop trying to solve the problem. None of this is Rocket Science (well, unless it is at SpaceX or something) you complete tasks better and better every time you complete one. As long as you never stop trying to solve the problem, or reach an audience, or film and make your YouTube videos better, everything gets better, including you.
All you have to do is not quit. Once you quit, it’s over. You’ll either need to move on or go back and do what you said you were going to do so that you’ll trust yourself again and others will too. Never Give Up, Never Surrender, unless you REALLY know you don’t want to do it anymore. But never give up for lack of success, only ever give up when you’re done learning anything new.
Until Tomorrow,
